Welcome to TimsReefTank.com! This site is dedicated to my reef tank which is 10 gallon nano. I sold my 72 gallon reef tank in Jan 2008. I will be moving to goto USF in May and could not take the tank with me.

I became interested in reef tanks when my friend Mike gave me a 15 gallon tank because he was going into the Army. Once having that setup and enjoying it, I decided I needed a bigger tank. I started my 72 gallon tank in December 2004.

The 10 gallon was started in January 2007 as part of the nano competition on TheReefTank.com. The contest has now ended and I came in second place. Originally, the tank was going to become my fiancée’s, but now I have convinced her to start a 10 gallon tank of her own when she gets the time; I will keep this one up and running. Her tank will be featured on this website as well.

Owning a fish tank is very relaxing; I enjoy sitting in front of the tank for hours at a time and just watch the fish swim around and the corals sway in the currents of the tank.
